Karnataka State Devanga Federation.

We are not able to achieve our community's full potential, because we lack unity and our leaders lack the support of centralised decisions making apparatus.

In our opinion our Devanga community needs to create Federation of Devangas by incorporating all institutions of our community into one entity. 

We ought not to insist for the creation of Devanga Development Corporation by Karnataka government, which in our opinion would be difficult in achieving in the present political environment in the state.

It's our opinion that our community's efforts must be towards getting tangible benefits,for our community rather than a unsuccessful utilisation of time and efforts.

The perception that our leaders lack the support to integrated all sections of our community needs to be changed, and the allegations of our community institution's management committees not supporting our community's leaders's efforts needs a revision. It could be due to lack of agreement or not involving all the stakeholders in decision making. 

This emphasizes that our community lacks centralised decisions making apparatus,
because of numerous management committees, often contracting, and undermining the efforts.

Our community in Karnataka are broadly represented by the following institutions:
1.Devanga Sangha.
2 Andhra Devanga Sangha.
3.Kannada Devanga Sangha.
4.Banashankari Devanga Sangha.
5.Devanga Dhama Seva Samaja
6..Karnataka State Devanga Sangha.
7.Karnataka State Devanga Government Employee's Sangha.
8.And in each district of Karnataka there are Devanga Mandali or a Committee.

According to sources each of the above institutions have about 15000 to 20000 members, and in each district committees 2000 to 5000 members.

With such a organisational structure, our leaders are not able to solve problems of our community nor install confidence in the ranks.

In my opinion our community needs a Karanataka State Devanga Federation, incorporating all the institutions of our community in the state of Karnataka.

The creation of this Federation will enable it to be the only official spokesperson of our Devanga community.

With such a apex body our leaders can strengthen our community's efforts of providing social justice to our people, ensuring proper implementation of social welfare schemes of the government. 

The Karnataka State Devanga federation will improve our community's socio economic conditions through it's collective strength.

A Successful federation means a strong community, enabling to secure social welfare benefits from government to our people.
