Coronavirus, and subsequently lockdowns, have affected business, is the present normalisation conducive for Weavers's economic revival?

It's important to consider that the textiles industry is influenced by various factors, including market demand, competition' access to resources, and government policies. 

Following factors ought to consider:
1. Market demand: 
The demand for handwoven textiles are fluctuating based on consumer preferences, fashion trends, and economic conditions.  Weavers will face challenges if there is a decline in demand for their products or if they face strong competition from cheaper mass-produced textiles. However there is growing demand sustainable fabrics which can create  opportunities for weavers.

2. Local and international markets: 
Weavers are facing economic conditions in local markets compared to international markets. Local markets might provide more immediate opportunities and a customer base that appreciates traditional crafts, whereas international markets could offer higher prices and access to a broader customer base. However, entering international markets can come with its own set of challenges, including export regulations, quality standards, and competition.

3. Access to resources:
Weavers require access to quality raw materials, such as fibers and dyes, to produce their textiles. The economic conditions are affected the availability and cost of resources.  Weavers are facing difficulties in sourcing affordable and high-quality materials, it will impact their productivity and profitability.

4. Government support: 
The intent of Government support forTextiles industry can greatly influence the economic conditions of weavers. Supportive policies may include financial assistance, training programs, infrastructure development, marketing initiatives, and protection of intellectual property rights. Government should create a more conducive environment for weavers to thrive.

Weavers who are part of global supply chains may be affected by factors such as trade agreements, tariffs, and transportation costs.  Economic conditions and policies related to international trade can impact the export potential and competitiveness of weavers in the global market.

It's important to assess the local and regional economic conditions, market dynamics, and government support available to weavers to determine whether the present economic conditions are conducive for their industry. Additionally, consumer awareness and support for handmade and sustainable products can play a significant role in creating opportunities for weavers.

The situation for weavers has varied after the normalization of lockdowns and the pandemic, depending on several factors such as regional context, economic conditions, and government support. 

The Present Scenarios for Weavers:
1. Recovery in local markets:
With the easing of restrictions and reopening of local markets, weavers are have experienced an slight improvement in their situation. The resumption of retail sales could help them regain customers and generate income.

2. Increased Online Services:
The pandemic accelerated the shift to online sales, and weavers who adapted to this trend by establishing an online presence and utilizing e-commerce platforms may have seen improved sales and visibility for their products. This broader reach could have opened up new markets and increased their customer base.

3. Government support and initiatives:
States governments have implemented support programs or initiatives specifically aimed at assisting weavers affected by the pandemic. But present situation of weavers needs more assistances.

4. Continued challenges:
 It's important to note that not all weavers may have experienced significant improvements. Economic recovery can be slow and uneven, and certain regions or communities may still face challenges in terms of market demand, access to resources, or competition from cheaper mass-produced textiles.

5. Sustainable and ethical consumption: 
The pandemic has heightened awareness about sustainable and ethical consumption, leading to increased interest in handcrafted and locally made products. This shift in consumer behavior could have benefited weavers who produce unique, handmade textiles, providing them with new opportunities and a market niche.

Overall, the situation for weavers has been a mixed bag, with some experiencing improvements while others continue to face economics difficulties.
