World Health Day 2023 – Health for All Our {Planet, Our Health.}
World Health Day is celebrated every year on the anniversary of the founding day of the World Health Organization.
In 1948, countries of the world came together and founded WHO to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable so everyone, everywhere can attain the highest level of health and well-being.
The unparalleled value of good health is celebrated on World Health Day on April 7. Spearheaded by the World Health Organization, physical, mental, and emotional well-being is promoted and celebrated all over the world on this day.
It’s a day to focus on and raise awareness around health issues that affect people all over the globe.
World Health Day is one of 11 official global health campaigns run by the World Health Organization, along with World Hepatitis Day, World Tuberculosis Day, World Chagas Disease Day, World Patient Safety Day, World Immunization Week, World No Tobacco Day, World AIDS Day, World Malaria Day, World Blood Donor Day and World Antimicrobial Awareness Week.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the World Health Organization. It is an opportunity to look back at public health successes that have improved quality of life, as well as motivate action to tackle the health challenges of today ̶ and tomorrow.
"The world is a much better place to live when your health is in place. Wishing a very Happy World Health Day."
