Sri Devala Maharishi's Jayanti :05-11-2022

My Fellow Devanga Brothers and Sisters,  According to Hindu Puranas Sri Devala Maharshi is acknowledged as one of the great rishis with spiritual authority like Narada and Vyasa and, is also mentioned by Arjuna in Bhagavad Gita.

According to the Devanga Purana, Sage Devala maharshi is the progenitor of the Devanga community, and he was called "Agni Manu" world's first weaver, who weaved fabrics for Gods and humans to cover their nudity. 

Sri Devala maharshi is known to have emerged from the third eye of Lord Shiva to create clothing and to teach the art of weaving to the world. 

Sri Devala maharshi is the progenitor of the Devanga community. On 5th Saturday November 2022, Sri Devala Maharishi's Jayanti is scheduled for celebration by millions of Devangas across the world.

On that day shall we all must take pledge of resurrecting our brothers and sisters who are working on looms in weaving factories and ensuring that the bond Sri Devala maharshi established with Sri Ramalingeshwara is not broken.

"In what manner can we help them?"
By purchasing the fabrics woven by them and asking your friends to patronize them.

You may recall your grandfathers Or fathers as entrepreneurs of textiles ,but higher education has transformed you as IT professional or an office going executive, while your cousins are weavers daily reinforcing the bond of Devala Maharshi.
