Monsoon's Vegetables.

The sweltering summer heat will give way to dreamy monsoons and while the change in weather is expected to bring a much-needed respite from the heat, it may also invite a number of illnesses. 
Digestive issues are more common during rainy season as your metabolism becomes sluggish and one may face problems such as gas, acidity, bloating, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, cramping, constipation, gastritis, and gut sensitivity issues. 
It's advisable to avoid street food and juices from outside as it may cause stomach infection due to the use of unhygienic water.
It is the season of new growth and nourishment you need to focus essentially on a monsoon season diet.
The rainy season is the time for veggies like bottle gourd, bitter gourd, ash gourd, ridge gourd, snake gourd, and other veggies like  cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, and okra.
Adding these veggies to your regular diet plan aids to foster good gut health and immune activity. Whereas, eating some vegetables may affect your immune during monsoons.
Vegetables you must avoid during the rainy season:
Green leafy vegetables.
Eggplant (Brinjal)
Bell peppers. (Capsicum)
Cauliflower.
You may replace the above vegetables by including the following in your monsoon diet:
Bottle Gourd.
Bitter Gourd.
Beetroot.
Cucumber.
Your food habits indicate your preferences and personality enjoy the monsoon bounties with care and you’ll not catch the flu or cough despite the temperature fluctuations.
Monsoon veggies tend to harbour more bacteria due to the humid and warm conditions. Wash all your vegetables thoroughly in a vinegar and salt solution prior to preparation.
